Synopsis

While on a business trip in Las Vegas, Aldo Freeman decides to have some fun. He and a co-worker, Jennifer Bright, knock back a few drinks and go explore the strip. After hours of wandering around in a daze, they find themselves in front of a 10-minute-or-less wedding chapel. Jennifer decides it would be a good idea to get married, then get it annulled right after. "After all, second marriages work out better", a direct quote from her. The next morning, Aldo wakes up next to his new bride and tries to remember what happened the previous night... and how he can get out of it.

Pre-Production

Flip started almost two years ago as a short five page outline for a feature movie. While working the one hour photo lab at Target, the director shaped the outline into a 15 page screenplay for a short film. During the tremendous amounts of downtime at the photo lab, he was also able to draw the majority of the storyboards and create the production design elements for the movie. On Location

Shooting on location in Las Vegas provided the production crew a way of creating a realistic looking world for the movie while, at the same time, keeping production costs down by using existing hotels and exterior locations. Another way to keep the budget under control was to shoot with a DVX100a/M2 adapter combination. Using this equipment, the camera crew was able to create a movie that has the look of 35 mm film for a fraction of the cost.

Post-Production
